For best results we advise using the Durston Impression Die Container Kit (997 D141). The die is made from precision machined high-grade steel and is designed to be used with a hydraulic press such as (997 D138). The patterned area of the die measures 32mm x 32mm. To use: Place a Durston Impression Die into the container. Add your metal piece and a urethane pad. Apply the steel pusher. Place all of the above into the hydraulic press and pump up using handle. Once pressure has been applied release valve to open press. This arrangement ensures that the force is efficiently focused into the metal, yielding sharply defined, high-relief forms.
