For bubble-free preparation and mixing Mix colours for unique shades and effects Use with the COLORIT® Hotplate An essential accessory for COLORIT® The COLORIT® 2 Hole Glass Mixing plate is an essential accessory when using COLORIT® Resins and is to be used in conjunction with the COLORIT® Hot Plate (860 756). It provides a secure surface on which to mix the COLORIT® colours and is made from heat resistant glass. The colours need to be heated to approximately 40-60°C. Appearing bubbles can be carefully dissolved by additional flaming of the colour, with a lighter for example, before applying it to the desired surface and curing it. The colours should be stirred well on the heated mixing plate before application, ensuring a `very-liquid` consistency and thus avoiding possible air bubbles inside the colour. The mixing plate measures 100mm (W) x 70mm (L) x 6mm (H).
